The new version of our traceability system connects data from 18,000 farming households, three factories and our distribution centre, so a scan of the QR code on the pack shows the growing area, harvest date, test results and shipping journey.

Thalvora Foods has launched the third version of its QR traceability system, covering all 420 products currently on the market. Since 2021, 100% of our contracted growing areas have carried traceability codes; this upgrade extends the data to every stage of processing, testing and distribution, and presents it in a way that is easier for consumers to read.
One scan, the whole journey
Scanning the QR code on the pack with a phone camera opens a page showing:
- Growing area: the sourcing region, the farmer cooperative group and any valid VietGAP or GlobalG.A.P. certification;
- Season: planting and harvest dates and the pre-harvest interval for crop protection products;
- Processing: the factory, line, production shift and the site's ISO 22000:2018 or FSSC 22000 certification;
- Testing: a summary of residue and microbiological test results for the lot;
- Distribution: dispatch date and, for fresh produce, cold chain temperature data.
Farmers' personal details are not published; the page shows only the name of the cooperative group and the growing area.
Data recorded at source
What sets the new version apart is that data is recorded where it is created. Farmers update their cultivation records on their phones, buyers scan codes when produce is weighed at collection points, factories assign lot codes as raw materials enter the line, and the Bac Ninh distribution centre logs temperature for every truck. As a result, tracing a lot from a supermarket shelf back to the field now takes less than two minutes, rather than several hours.
Transparency is not a marketing feature. It is how we hold ourselves to doing things right at every step, because anyone can check. — Mr Le Minh Tri, Chief Executive Officer, Thalvora Foods
What it means for partners
Large supermarket chains and importers can look up lot records through a dedicated portal, with certification documents available to download. If a product ever needs to be recalled, Thalvora can identify exactly which outlets received the affected lot and notify them within one hour. In 2026, the company ran four mock recall exercises, each tracing 100% of the product within the required time.
What consumers are telling us
During a three-month trial with Thalvora Farm baby vegetables and Cau Dat Arabica coffee, the QR codes were scanned more than 260,000 times. A new feedback option on the page helps the quality team log and respond to comments faster; 70% of the feedback received consisted of questions about storage and preparation, which have since been added as short guides on the page itself.
The new version is being introduced gradually on packaging printed from July 2026. Existing packs keep their current QR codes, which now redirect automatically to the new page. For any questions about traceability information, please call 1900 14xx or email info@xxxxx.vn.
